Dry Needling

Dry needling uses a combination of trigger point releases and increases in local blood flow to improve the healing response and muscle relaxation, it is also effective in modulating muscle tone to assist with rehabilitation. When used in conjunction with a focused exercise program, Dry Needling can be highly effective in both reducing pain and recovery time.

Dry Needling differs from traditional accupuncture which assumes a model of "qi" flow around the body. Dry Needling is based on scientific research and focuses on the stimulation of muscle trigger points, reducing tension and improving the activity of dysfunctional muscles.
