What to expect

Your therapist will work with you to create a personalised treatment plan based on a thorough assessment of your condition and needs.

A discussion with your Exercise Physiologist

Your first session is all about you. We’ll chat about your medical history, lifestyle, and goals so your Exercise Physiologist can truly understand what’s important and create a program that fits your life.

Physical assessment & baseline testing

To understand your starting point, your Exercise Physiologist may look at your mobility, strength, and overall fitness. This can include gentle checks of flexibility and joint movement, strength testing to see where you might need extra support, and simple cardiovascular assessments to see how your body responds to exercise.

Developing a personalised exercise plan

After your assessment, your Exercise Physiologist will create a personalised program designed around you and your goals. This might include exercises during your sessions, a home program to support your everyday life, and regular goal setting with progress tracking to keep you motivated. Together, you’ll set achievable milestones that help you feel confident and in control of your health journey.

Next steps

You can book ongoing sessions, with your progress carefully tracked at every visit. Your Exercise Physiologist will guide you, helping you stay consistent, adapt your program as you improve, and make sure every session is effective, enjoyable, and designed around what matters most to you.
